Upgrade QS to Regular DP at Check In for DVC Member?

We are DVC members staying on points one night at AKL. Orginally, we had a flight that got us in very late. Now that our flight arrival changed to 6:45PM, we will have time for dinner at Boma (already have ADR). I already paid for the QS plan figuring we would use it the next day when we switch resorts.

I didn't even think this was possible, but I read somewhere on these boards that if you are a DVC member staying on points you can purchase your dining plan at check in. Would that policy also extend to upgrading your dining plan at check in?

Since we don't arrive until the evening, I'm a little concerned about making the change, pre-trip.

No it has to be added/changed 48 hours in advance and needs to be paid at that time.

Can't be done at check-in. You need to do this no later than 48 hours before arrival. And last year, the DVC system was changed, so if you booked your reservation or added DDP after October 14 you can't even pay for DDP when you check in. It all must be done ahead of time.
