Upgrade possibilty

My dw and I booked our cruise leaving on the 11th of September and were wondering what the chances are for an upgrade from our cat. 6 stateroom, we were given a GTY room because we booked last week, I was wondering what kind of experinces other cruisers had in getting upgraded and if we are what might we be upgraded to?? WAAHH HOOO we leave in less than 2 weeks!!!!!!! Thanks everyone!!

a cat 6 is a very nice stateroom to begin with, so I'm sure you wont be disappointed if you do not get upgraded.....it's been our experience, and from reading the boards that you get upgraded from the stateroom cats that garner the most demand i.e. the less expensive ones like 9, 10, 11.....they upgrade from these cats to 5 and 6 often to open up more availability.....
