upgrade my quick serv dining plan or not?

if you have free quick serv dining, what's the price diff to upgrade to the moderate dining plan. We have the quick serv but have reservations for 2 character dining meals, the total for both will be approx $250, im wondering if i should just upgrade to the moderate dining plan, you know if its not a huge price difference. and can i still do that?

I was told on the boards that it is about $10 a night per person to upgrade an adult to the regular plan from the QS plan. I am trying to see what it is for kids.

I believe it is approx $10 per adult per night & $2 per child.

you know i was able to price it out on the disneyworld site, and for my 8 day/ 7 night stay it was around $224 more to upgrade so I would actually save some $ if I upgraded but the downside is that from what the Castmember I chatted with told me-- I cannot use a table serv entitlement for a quick service. Honestly I dont want to plan my schedule around dining reservations so I dont think it will be a good option for me. Im still doing my 2 character dine meals but I guess I'll just pay out of pocket for them.
