upgrade GetAwayToday tickets to AP?

Has anyone done this? We will travel in November with 5 day PH. I'm thinking about upgrading to AP and wondering how the tickets will be valued.

I bought a package of tickets and hotel. It's on the layaway plan and not paid off yet. My invoice does not show a price breakdown, just the total cost of the package.

Thanks for any help you can provide! If I can get a great deal on the upgrade, it'll be worth it to add another trip (or two!) in the next year.

Your best answer is going to come from contacting GAT and asking if the tickets in your package are upgradeable and if they know what the upgrade value will be.

Yes you can - I did last year for the 60th and had no problems. We got credit for what we paid - they know what Getawaytoday sells them for and we paid the difference. We do the layaway plans almost every year - it makes everything so much more enjoyable when it is paid off over time.

I have not done this with GAT tickets but have done it with Costco Travel tickets. Even though we paid less through Costco we were credited with what Disney 5 day tickets cost (so we came out a little ahead!) One thing I would have done differently would have been to upgrade at the end of the trip. We did it our first day and lost our Magic Morning but we did get to use the discount so it depends on what is important to you.

I did it in November with gat tickets. They gave me the ticket price at the booth value for them towards the ap. Saved some good money
