Upgrade for Platinum to Club Level?

I am currently a Loews First Platinum member and booked in a Portofino Suite for this July. Based on my experience last year (Platinum member and paid extra at reservation time for the Portofino Suite upgrade) the suite consisted of a Garden View Room and and a second room (the Portofino Suite room). Does anyone know if Loews will comp a Platinum guest to the new club level (or just the privileges) at the Portofino Bay Hotel?

Generally they will not upgrade to club level for free no matter what level of loews first you are. You usually have to pay between $50-$100 per night to upgrade to the club level. I am loews platinum also and once I paid $50 per night to upgrade to club level at HRH and was quoted $80 to upgrade to club level at PBH.
