Upgrade costs at the Port

We are leaving this Saturday with a cat 11 deck 6 room. Could anyone give me a rough idea how much an upgrade will cost at the port to a cat 9 outside? It was about $500 a month ago so I didn't take it. Do you think it will be less at the port? We are 2 adults, 4 yr old and a 2yr old. I need to be prepared to talk my hubby into the upgrade on our 9 hr drive to the Port. It will take that many hours if the price is still as steep as a month ago.

Actually it may be more. I did an upgrade at port. Before we left (on Friday) I checked the online price of the Cat 9 we had and the online price of the Cat 5/6 we wanted. When I got to the port on Saturday and asked about purchasing an upgrade, the price they charged me was equal to the difference between the cabin online.
Check the "get a quote" option for your cruise and check the prices between the two catagories, that is a good estimation of what they will charge you at port.

At the time I am posting this, the website "Quote" system is showing a cash difference of $300 for Cat 11 to Cat 9 and $500 for a Cat 11 to Cat 8. (Remember this is just an estimate and could be different at port)

When we did it in January, it was substantially less than what it would have been even a few days before. Not sure what makes that different each time...
