Upgrade at the port

Okay - we did not get the complimentary upgrade - which is okay - we are still going on the Magic and will have a wonderful time. My question is - has anyone ever got a good price on an upgrade when you check in at the port? Just wondering if it is possible!!!

I have never done this...I have asked, and told all was full..But I do know of some people doing this, and it is MUCH less expensive than actually upgrading beforehand..There are very few to purchase, however..

From what I've read it seems to depend greatly on when you are sailing.

Most of the time, the Magic and the Wonder sail almost full so there are no upgrades available. During certain slower times, there may be upgrades available (Sept & Jan seem to be slower months)

From the pricing I've seen, my impression is that the upgrade cost is typically a 'good' deal, not a 'great' deal.
