Upgrade at Poly ?

So, I just found out that all the rooms have 2 queen beds at the Poly...unless you upgrade to a king bed. So, I have 3 questions...

1. Does anyone know how much would an upgrade be?
2. What are the chances of getting one?
3. Should I call a week before or just wait until we get there?

It's just the two of us, so we really don't need the extra bed...TIA!

There is one honeymoon suite w/ a king bed. All of the other suites run around $795-$2000 per night. All other rooms have two queen and one daybed. I think the honeymoon suite is the same price as a lagoon view concierge room. I may not be exact on the price but I know I'm pretty close. Google: Tikiman Polynesian. As the above poster mentioned, none of the rooms at the Poly ( with that one exception) have king beds. It's the only resort without kings available in the regular, non-suite rooms. An upgrade at the Poly would be to a different view, ie: from garden view, to MK view, to lagoon view or to concierge garden or lagoon view.---Kathy
