upgrade AP

I've got a fanasy AP & wondered if it's possible to upgrade it during the year to a dream AP or will it have to be a new AP?

I dont think you will be able to upgrade.

the difference between the 2 is the price - the dream AP is more expensive but can be used 365 days a yr whereas the fantasy pass has some blackout days when it cannot be used. The discounts you get with dream AP are also different and better.
There is also a francilien pass which is cheaper still but this cannot be used for day 2 and 3 after purchase and has even more blackout days and less perks

No there is unfortunately no ability to upgrade until renewal

Thank you! I think it means that if I buy the lowest level annual pass (the days in May when I need it are not restricted) I should be able to get the pass by mail in advance and then use it for the two days in a row at the end of May. Am I understanding correctly?

If you are talking about the Francilien pass I dont think that would work as you cant use it day 2 and 3 after its first use
