Updt pg 2!!!! prayer or good thought request for my DD!

My duaghter in reaching for something on the counter burned her upper arm... on the wall oven about an hour ago.

Pediatrician told us to get there right away.. so Dh went with DS.

My DH said , you have school tonight, its finals week, go and concentrate on school.. I've got this covered.

I know my minds isn't going to be on school... so if you can say or thnk good thoughts for my DD LAuren.. I would appreciate it.

And extra patience with my DH would be great since he's taking two kids with him!

{{HUGS}} to your dd. When my dd was about 3 she touched the muffler on our riding lawnmower. I took her to the emergency room right away. I was so upset (with dh for not watching her and mad at myself that I had not been outside watching her), but once the ER dr's got it taken care of, she didn't really complain of discomfort.

Update..

I was a nervous wreck when DH left with the kids, and told me to go on to school

I wound up calling the doctors office and talked to a nurse there.. they said she wasn't in any pain then and the blistering/bubbling was going down.

They didn't come home before my class, so I left for school and called the house during a self imposed break..

She sounded fine. It ultimately was an inbetween a first and second degree burn. She has a dressing that we need to change twice a day for about a week with some special burn cream.

That wall oven, double oven.. can get you easily.. it was the metal side the is the edge.. she really had no chance! There is a small counter area between the wall oven and the stovetop burners in the counter... she was reaching for her lunchbox on the counter.. and ouch

And no, the two kids didn't do too badly in the doctors office either.

Poor baby, I'm glad she's feeling better. Give her a little Tylenol tonight before she goes to sleep to help with the pain.
