Hello Disney Fans,

For my DD5 and DD8, we have just received their renewed CDN passports. We also have Nexus for them, but got it done under the old GOES system.

For searching online there is a new system online for updating your passport # to your Nexus membership, does anyone have the link to do this, i can't seem to find it. I have done it for my passport and for DW, but it says I can't link my daughter's account to my email address.

Thanks for any help

Each Nexus participant needs its own e-mail address. I created gmail addresses for my daughters (everything received there are automatically forwarded to my e-mail) and used that.

Great thanks very much!

By the way if you use gmail, you can actually do it with just your own gmail address, by inserting "."
For example if your email address is botl76@gmail.com, you could assign your child b.otl76@gmail.com with Nexus/GOES, which will recognize it as a new address, while Gmail will just send it all to you because there are no periods recognized in gmail addresses.

You can also do this at the airport if it has a NEXUS center. We updated the American side online, but did the Canadian at our local airport. BOTH sides need it updated.

Can you elaborate here? We updated our kids’ Nexus profiles with their new passport numbers on the US site, but as it was issued in Detroit by the US authorities, figured that was the only action required.

We were at the airport for eye scans and updated our sons NEXUS since he was just issued a new passport. They said to make sure we also updated the AMERICAN side which would have to be done online or at one of the centers across the border within the states.

Gotcha. We never updated with the Canadian authorities. Never knew you had to. We updated online & figured the two systems communicate as ours were issued in Detroit.

A couple years ago I had to update our passport info for all of us after we got robbed and I thought our passports had been stolen (finally found them after they were canceled). Only updated online and never had an issue at Canadian customs. Even after I was selected for more in-depth screening where I was asked if I had my passport with me in addition to Nexus (I did).

100% not true, if you update online with TTP there is no need to update the CBSA

"Please note that NEXUS members are not required to report to an Enrolment Centre to update or change their passport information with the CBSA"
