Updating ESTA?

I've just updated my ESTA for our upcoming trip, but it still says it expires on 25 October 2010.
How do I renew it so it stays valid for another 2 years without having to pay the fee for our next trip (which will coincidentally be on 25 October 2010)?

I think you have to reapply rather than just update your current one.

Yes, just start again from scratch. You don't need to do anything about the old one.
