I've recently seen photos of the volcano covered in scaffolding for renovations. Previously, I hadn't seen this mentioned anywhere here or on Disney's website.

Is there a site somewhere that tracks changes like this?

Good question! I saw the scaffolding in the background in Jen Lefforge’s first Aulani video and wondered the same thing.

Just got back this morning from a 10 day stay, and although there were scaffolds all around the volcano, I really don't recall seeing any workers or work going on. The bathrooms in the structure were open, one would think that if Disney were actively working on it, they would not allow people to be moving in and around it.
