Selfie sticks!!!
Yay!!!!

If you look at pics of my family on Test Track, you'd think my son and daughter had selfie stick heads thanks to the TWO single riders who came in our car and documented their entire experience.

When was that? They actually added seflie sticks to the prohibited list earlier this year.

Selfie sticks were banned during the summer. Although I did see a group of young men with one, in Epcot, in October.

I think #1 under Company Rights is nothing new.

now lets see how many of these they will actually enforce.
Just last week I was almost whacked in the head by a selfie stick, had to walk carefully around 4 families with rolling coolers, had to actually tell a group of 4 to go smoke in the smoking location (they were right next to Sleepy Hollow), saw a girl in her 20s in full Jasmine costume and saw more than one person walking around without shoes

Right!?! In last couple trips, as crowds constantly grow, I've seen huge wagons, people pulling coolers and strollers behind them, an ECV with the man sitting and the woman straddling him standing and driving at full speed, smoke everywhere .......... and the one trip beat all with the two probably 12 year olds with no shirts on - and one was a girl!!!

They have all these rules, they make more but they don't define them nor enforce them. For those of us who follow them, it is aggravating.

I was wondering what exactly is new?
Haven't most all of these been there since the Selfie Stick ban was added in the summer
Enforcement has always been a grey area for many of them, like rolling coolers, right?
Which we did see last week, after the new security checks were started. So they are still letting them enter

had to walk carefully around 4 families with rolling coolers,
I can't tell if rolling coolers are actually banned. If they meet the size restriction under #4, are they allowed? Or does #5 cover rolling coolers?

The way I read it rolling coolers would be fine if within size specs. Number 5 seems to be there to address the issue of 'towing' objects with an ECV.

there's a thread on the DISAbilities board from someone who recently saw a wagon that had been brought into a park as a mobility aid for a disabled child - and it was being towed behind an ECV. That is two big no-nos in one sighting.

I was fine until I got to #1 under "Company Rights".

I imagine that is there to prevent lawsuits from people who may have been caught in background crowds at commercial shoots, etc. They're not running commercials or literature with raw video/photos from the parks. Anything they use to make money almost certainly be shot and produced professionally, with attractive, paid participants.

But it also says "or pulled by a person"

Ohh, you're right! I missed that bit! I guess it depends on what 'trailer-like' means? I think of trailer-like being something with four wheels, flat on the ground, being pulled by a rope or long handle (like a wagon). Rolling coolers are pulled more upright, like a rolling suitcase - right?

There's so much potential for danger there it's ridiculous.
