Hello All - you are a FUN group, but guess WDW makes it that way:tongue:

I did a quick search but could not find an answer to these 4 questions:

1) We are planning on staying at ASM with a toddler, any advice
and any info on the room and location you stayed in?

2) What is the best time of year to visit WDW? We had heard about the week before Thanksgiving, and are now trying to plan this year's visit.
Any advice about timing, like does it start getting crowded ON Thanksgiving, or the weekend before, is appreciated.

3)Weather: Anybody know what the weather usually is like mid-November? Or maybe you know of an almanac weather link?

4) We'll be traveling with a 19 month old (oh I just can't wait!!),
and any advice would be wonderful - plus the big question for me is how do we get around the shuttle bus and monorail system with a stroller? Do the attractions have secure stroller parking?

Thank you!

:D Glad to have you along.

Our first trip in 1996 was the week before the week of Thanksgiving and there as NOBODY there. We did not include the weekend before Thanksgiving however so I don't know how crowded it was. Weather was great then. We spent a lot of time at and IN the pool and a whole day at one of the water parks.

Have a great time!

You are going to have such fun planning your trip. For me, that's almost the best part!:D

Just wanted to let you in on our favorite time to go: Early December! The weather is usually mild, the crowds are generally low, and you get to enjoy all of the beautiful Christmas Decorations and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party!

Happy Planning!:earsgirl:

What is the best time of year to visit - that is often debated here.

September/MidJan is the best time of year for the crowds. No doubt about it in my mind.

Week before Thanksgiving is ok. But crowds picking up. But the weather is usually very nice at that time of year.

A big thank you to all you helpful veterans:wave:

I'm very new at this so I didn't know how or if it
was appropriate to thank you individually...
Will you even see this?

Talk about being a novice!!
