**** UPDATE 1/3/09 *****
Please see post #3 for an update....
________________________________________________________________________________
I received an e-mail stating that the Nick Hotel will no longer be part of the Holiday Inn chain. I tried to Google for info to see what chain might be picking up this hotel but I cannot find any information. Does anyone have any ideas of who it might be?
This is the e-mail I got:
Dear Valued Holiday Inn Guest,
Our records show that you have a reservation for the Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn hotel for a check in date of 6 January 2009 and/or beyond. Effective 5 January 2009, the Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn hotel will no longer be a part of the Holiday Inn system. While it is our understanding that the hotel will still honor your current reservation, in the event you wish to change your current reservation to another Holiday Inn hotel, we wanted to suggest another hotel within the Holiday Inn family!
Before your check in date, you should be receiving a call and/or email from one of our Holiday Inn representatives to discuss the alternatives available to you in the event you wish to change your current reservation at the Nickelodeon Family suites by Holiday Inn. For your convenience, we have narrowed the alternatives down for you that match closely with the proximity, brand and amenities of the Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn.
These suggested alternates include, but are not limited to:
Holiday Inn Club Vacations Orlando Orange Lake Resort
Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort Lake Buena Vista
Holiday Inn Express Lake Buena Vista
Holiday Inn Main Gate East
Please use the links above to see which property fits your travel needs best. And, if a Holiday Inn representative hasnt already contacted you, please feel free to give us a call directly at 1-888-604-2424 to let us know if you are interested in booking your stay at another Holiday Inn hotel. Please do not reply to this email.
We look forward to you staying with us soon!
Best Regards,
