Updated hours for Jan 1-7

Just noticed that the hours during the week of Jan 2-6 have been expanded at both DL and DCA.

Also added more fireworks and parades during the weekdays.

Guess they expect it to be busy.

I'm beginning to wonder if there ever will be an off-season, or slow time for DL. We were there first week of Dec., which traditionally is considered a low attendance period, boy were we surprised at the crowds! Still..a crowded DL is much better than no DL!

The first week of January many schools are still out. I know schools in my area don't get out until Dec 26 - January 6th for winter break.

Thanks for the update! I just updated my notes as we'll be there Jan. 1-7, and this does change our plans a bit. I'm glad to have multiple opportunities for viewing the fireworks, and we'll probably try to view them from different places in the park on different nights. I am bracing for crowds!

When I originally booked this trip, I thought I'd take advantage of the opportunity for an extra trip while the crowds would be low, but that doesn't look to be the case now. My kids are out of school until Jan. 9, and it sounds like many others are this year too.

Where do you find the hours? I've been looking and can't find them... would help greatly since we leave in a few days and I need to PLAN!!! Thanks!
