The store is supposed to be in innovations west along with a trading area. Of course the Auction for Disneyana was also over in America so maybe they are just doing auctions there from now on. The seminars are apparently going to be over at Imagination upstairs. Which sounds really really cool.

Also they said that our Fed Ex Stuff went out yesterday and it explains everything about the event. They didn't sound too harassed so don't think they have been flooded with calls this morning.

The distance from Innovations West and Imagination isn't that far which will be nice.

Hope it's not like the Animal Kingdom event where they made us share the park after closing with a group of Gynocologists :teeth: ;)

Hey Lauri,
What would be so bad about that. Getting to be at our happy place and a free exam at the same time. I never seem to have time to get to my Dr.
That sounds like it will be a mess, with them spreading us all over the place. OOPS, I didn't mean SPREADING for the gynocologists, I meant Disney putting the event all over the park.
They can always use the old restaraunts they keep closing in Epcot, the "pin trading area" and Oddysey.
And besides, they can't give us exams, none of those tables have stirrips. Peggie

Can you say "CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT" boys and girls???
This will get ugly, wait 'till Ed gets wind of this!
  :teeth: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :smooth:  :jester:

Well, to lend some credence to what Figgy has posted, Disney's Official Pin site says that the daily 5 pm pin auctions will be held at the American Gardens Theater. There's just too many activities crammed into too short of a time period to have us running around to different locations. And all the while, we'll have to drag our pins around in order to trade.
What's wrong with using some of their precious convention space?
I was leaning toward not going to next year's pin event; and this just helped make the decision a little easier!

*Gasp*!!! James! And miss the GPA3???

Lauri - who is going to go ahead and make an appointment now to have her head examined because I'm sure Jeff is going to insist on it when he reads that I said GPA3

This really stinks! Last year it was great. The kids where over in the kids trading area, while we were always close enough either trading or viewing the new stuff. And remember the 40 or more cash registers??? We won't see them either. I remember waiting at least an hour when there were that many registers. The best they can do is sell pins at Odessy with what, say 10-15 registers at best. Looks like long lines in our future. And don't get me started on the huge bathrooms at the village showcase. The biggest bathroom in the "world". It was also nice pulling up a carpeted area out of the way to trade, when all of the tables were taken. So looks like alot of running around. Here to view new pins, another location for kids to trade, another location to buy pins.

James.
I am with you. I am serious thinking about not going to the GP3 either. I definately won't be going to the auction. I barely get around EPCOT once in my wheelchair and there is no way I will be able to do it several times. Depending on water levels I can't use the boat. Plus the extra power needed to go between the pin seminars and the trading area. At least if it were as last year I could park the wheelchair and walk a bit. Add to that the fact they are so secretive about everything that they aren't even communicating with their own people in other areas so the sign language coordinator hasn't even heard to set up interpreting for me. If there are no interpreters I'm not going to bother. Why spend my money and not have access to the seminars.
All they want is my money for the pins.
And it is not the sing language coordinators fault. He has been great!
