And my biggest bummer of the weekend is not getting to visit with Mel and Kaitlyn. We had such big plans to hang out and chit chat and like you said Mel, the timing was off and it just didn't happen. Poo-ey. And Deb, I missed you, too. Sorry you had the niece from H-E-double hockey sticks. I took my sister's kids for the first time many years ago and her DD who was 7 at the time did the same thing. I had never experienced a child who cried at the entrance to every ride and I was dumbfounded. After a few hours it really does ruin your day. I do not blame you ONE BIT for moving on - AMEN sister! I don't know what makes children react like that.

I didn't get to visit as much as I wanted either . But the little time I did get to spend with the ladies made me more excited for February. I did get to visit a lot with Mel since we waited a couple hours for the fireworks.

Poor Deb! She told me about Laramie's niece during the luncheon & I could tell she was at her wits end while she was explaining how her trip had been so far .

Deb- You're not a meanie & don't feel bad, I would have felt the same way.

Jane- I just wanted to add that Ty is the cutest ball of energy. My older DD just thought he was TOOO Cute!! Too bad Laila was asleep. We'll have to try and set them up together later .

Thanks so much Linda. Katy is my reserved girl but Shelby is not reserved at ALL! LOL. In fact she is VERY popular at school too because she is very outspoken and she just falls in love with most people when she meets them. I kind of worry because she doesn't have the normal hesitancy that kids SHOULD have when meeting strangers. I am glad that she is open and polite but wish she was a LITTLE more hesitant with just ANYONE KWIM? I don't want her trusting just ANYONE with all the crazies in the world and we know that some of the worst predators can come off as the nicest people. But I am so glad you didn't mind her bugging you so much. She just LOVED you to death and kept asking about you!

I just love these trips but I agree that there is just NEVER enough time to get to talk to indiv's. One of the things I REALLY enjoyed on the last trip and even this one was the times I had to sit and just VISIT with people. Like at tratorria, Billy Hill, Plaza Inn and during the fireworks. And then in Feb a few times some of us would break off and go have drinks at the bar at Grand Cal or wherever and it is SO nice to do that. The only bad part is you don't always get to talk to everyone you want to talk to.

I am hoping I will get more time to do that in Feb! I told Shane honestly that just the meals and sitting and visiting with everyone is what I TRULY enjoy about the ladies trip. It is not even really about the rides or anything. Not that I don't enjoy that but I go often enough that I don't mind if I don't do many rides. I just like seeing everyone and visiting!

Kaitlyn took a 30 minute shower, and I kid you not, changed her clothes about 10 times before we finally got out the door for early entry.

I loved the fireworks. We had pretty good spots. I was about to take somebody out for trying to take our benches!! Thankfully the CM, was around to see this happen, and he sided with Cristabel and I. Whew!!!
I still love "Remember..." the best.

The Fantasmic dessert buffet was the best. How spoiled we were!!! Thanks to Stacie, we got front row seats. She about took someone out too for taking her spots. Fortunately the CMs got that all settled too. Poor CMs, it must be hard sometimes trying to make everyone happy and doing the right thing.
Murphy the dragon worked great for our time slot. I guess at the earlier showing, she just spewed out smoke instead of fire. We got the fire girls!!!!

We missed our PS to Cafe Orleans, so we didn't get the NBC spoon - bummer. And we didn't get the pumpkin mugs either. Dang, WTH DID we do this trip ????? We did have the most awesome seats for F! because of Stacielee - yay Stacielee and we had the most awesome bench seats for the fireworks because of Mel - yay Mel

Yeah our dragon breathed FIRE!!!! It was really great. What happened at our Fantasmic was this. When we arrived, a couple was already sitting in Stacies spots, which we knew that she had reserved. Well when the CMs went to them and asked them what was going on they said they were theirs. This went on for quite awhile, and the poor CM was trying to get things fixed. Finally another CM came in, and went to this couple again and told them sorry, but these spots were reserved. I guess this couple thought since they had lined up 45 minutes just ahead of time and were there first, they could get first pick. They had no idea about waiting at 7:00 to pick out their spots. So they finally moved, just in time for the show. Whew!

At the fireworks, Kaitlyn and I had grabbed benches just after the Celebaration parade was over, and they were still facing the parade route. The CM told me that they would be moving them in a bit to face the fireworks, and I said fine, I will just follow the seats. So the time came to change them out. By this time Cristabel was there too. Thank goodness. So I followed the seats, and as soon as they were placed where they wanted them we sat down. I mean I was HOVERING OVER THEM!! Well another lady sits down too on my bench. I told her very nicely that I was saving them. She tells me that I couldn't do that cuz they were just moved. So I tell her that, I followed the benches that I had already been saving. At this point the CM heard this, and told the lady that they were my seats, cuz I had already been saving them. Another whew!!

No, I never got them, completely forgot!! And I even saw them at WCT and was planning on getting them then! But I called Christine yesterday and she is going to DL today so she is going to pick me up 1 or 2. I told her she and her friends could eat whatever is in them, all I want are the mugs. I probably won't see them until Thanksgiving, since that's the next time she'll be home

Other than that, I think I got everything I wanted. Well, I guess we never tasted the wine I brought, and didn't do too well on the Mike's either!! Oh, that reminds me, Chris (or Jill) and Melody wanted to know the name of the other wine that I was told is better than Rosa Regale; it's called Casa Sant'Orsola Brachetto D'Acqui. I got it at Total Wine, they probably have it at BevMo as well.

It sounded like the CM who seated them didn't know what she was doing. The couple didn't check-in previously so there were no seat numbers written on their tickets, that's how they knew what had happened.

I think it was the same as the Rosa, very close to the same. I still haven't opened it, just waiting for the right people to share it with!

Hello, Divas! Just back last night from nine fun-filled days in SoCal. Made it to the DLR on five of those days, so it was a happy trip for me. And yes, that is me in the back row, center, wearing my self-made Mickey-eared birthday cap in the Billy Hill group photo. Thanks for posting Mary Jo, as I didn't have a photo of it taken with my camera. I really, really enjoyed meeting everyone at the Billy Hill show on 10/24. It was one of the highlights of my first birthday spent at Disneyland. Also had such a great time at WCT on Sunday and the chance to meet even more Dis Divas, especially Sally, my birthday buddy. Thanks everyone for the rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" you sang to both of us. I just wish that there had been more time to spend talking to everyone.

Had fun hamming it up with my two sisters as Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather at the Halloween party on 10/29. My niece looked fantastic as Maleficent and her DD4 was a darling Princess Aurora in a gold dress (she preferred it over the Princess Aurora dress so we improvised and said it was Princess Aurora's wedding dress). I am at the office right now but will share photos soon. I'd love it if anyone who has photos of Billy Hill on 10/24 or the WCT lunch on 10/25 would post them here.
