Update your MDE App on your phone

MDE app wasn't showing A&E, Wishes, or FoF as option, if you upgrade the app you will now see those options (no guarantee they are available) May show standby only but at least the app is including them.

I have the iOS app and have seen them for awhile now. Maybe you just haven't seen the update.

So, does this mean Disney needs to update the App for the Mine Ride to show up in the App, or can they dynamically add the new ride to the FP+ selections without upgrading the app.

I would like to assume it's the latter.

You are probably right...but there have been a few of us on here complaining that we weren't seeing them. This was meant to help anyone that's not seeing them.


I was able to see Wishes on my app (before I upgraded) for the month of April (never could see A&E). When they released Wishes FP+ yesterday I didn't see it as an option on my app. I upgraded the IOS about 4 weeks ago. I think there's a newer one out now. I haven't upgraded that yet. You are probably correct about having to upgrade once they release Mine Ride FPs.

With my tech background and being a Database Developer for a living, I would like to assume that they can add something to a database that would automatically enable the Mine Ride to show up in the app itself. It all depends on how they developed the iOS and Android applications.

Last night and yesterday, my wife saw some interesting things going on. For Anna and Elsa FP, some days we checked, it wasn't even showing up in the list, other days it showed in the list, but said "Standby Available" only. We also found an A&E FP+ shown as available on two days, but when we quickly acted on it, it said there was an error with their systems. My wife kept attempting and finally was able to get one at 12:30AM EST.

If you look at the map using the app, there is no Mine Ride shown. Now, a large interactive graphic like this, I would assume would require an app update. Just my input, that's all.
