If anyone recalls I posted with distress over the portables at school having unlocked doors, while the actual school doors are locked for safety.

Found out it is district policy that ALL DOORS BE LOCKED, including portables. This school was not following guidelines, even after we brought it to the attention of the principle.

For all of you who said I was "OVER THE TOP" in asking that they be locked... apparantly the people in charge at the district have agreed with my insane way of thinking all along.

The doors are now locked.

Nice effort out there. Even one voice helps!

I don't recall your previous post about the situation but good for you to get your voice heard!

I wouldnt talk about the "Mommy Gut Instinct" here.... :rolleyes1

I agree with you 100% - if you were uncomfy with it - gut instinct or not - then you did the right thing and made them make the necessary changes. Good job! :thumbsup2
