Updated in post #30.
Hello everyone,
I am trying to plan a last minute Disney vacation for the weekend of Feb. 8. The CM told me that all rooms, except for concierge-level Yacht Club 2 bedroom villas (waaaay too rich for my blood) are sold out, both with the FL resident discount code and without. My dilemna is that my mom received some devestating news this week that despite being on her 3rd kind of chemo, her cancer has grown and spread.
She has been taken off of chemo and told to live out the rest of her life to the fullest. Now you can see my sense of urgency.
Does anyone know what I can do to get a room? I actually need 2 rooms, as there will be 6 of us altogether. I even tried calling Shades of Green (DH is military) and not only are they booked solid, but the only thing they have for overflow is the Beach Club at $325/night. That's still more money than we can really spend at this time. I was hoping to stay in a moderate, but will gladly take a value if I have to.
*Edited to add that we really, really would like to stay on property to get that feeling of being on vacation & using their transportation (we live within driving distance of Disney.)*
Thanks so much for any tips you can provide me with!
