I decided to call the HoJo today, to see if my room for next week has a microwave and/or fridge. I was told that there are no reservations under my name. :scared1: I have been on hold with the HoJo front desk for 25 minutes, waiting to talk to someone about this. The last 2 people I have spoken with have told me there is absolutely no reservation with my name. I don't have my confirmation numbers, they were stored on my old computer which died a month ago. I made my reservations months ago, I remember having to make like 3 reservations because the entertainment rate wasn't available all of my nights.

Has anyone else had their reservations lost by the HoJo? What did you do?

UPDATE: Problem solved, they found it. It was under my married name, which I haven't used in months. I must have used that when making the reservation, which is odd. I will likely change that, because my credit card doesn't have that name on it. Anyway, it's all good now. :goodvibes

Oh no, that's terrible. I have never had that happen anywhere, but I am crazy about keeping confirmation numbers everywhere. I write them in my checkbook and print the email hojo sends you.
I did have a rude front desk man tell me that they don't accept pre-payments thru AAA @ a ramada last week and insisted on getting my credit card until I produced a email reciept and told him I was calling AAA to complain. He then proceeded to give us a horrible room.

This might be worth a try....

On www.hojo.com (the main page) click on the tab for Hotels & Reservations, click on Retrieve Reservations on the left side, if you enter your first and last name, along with your credit card info -- it brings up any reservations under that name and card. You need to use the name you booked the room under.

Hope it works!

So glad they found it! I had a similar freak out moment when I actually cancelled mine on accident. That was the worst half hour of my life. It's such a relief when everything is resolved.

OMG thank you for posting. I had made a ressie but never received an email confirmation. I went to the website and looked it up by my credit card number and the ressie was there. Whew, I never thought to check.

Ah good its not just me its happened to.

We arrived at Hojos on the final leg of a 5 week around the world tour and we were told we had no reservation that it had been cancelled by Qantas Holidays. So we freaked out of course as we knew Anaheim was busy that week Mar 16-22 so we got on the phone to our travel agent and she confirmed the booking was made and the appropriate details were sent.

After waiting for a bit they got us into a room in the 1st floor of Building 1
( 1102 i think) afterwards we found out Qantas Holidays had sent a cancellation but sent an updated booking which HoJo's reservations did not process and was found after we had checked into our wonderful room.

So the staff were very apologetic and we had an excellent time - but the stress was not needed.

Will definatley stay there again.

You guys didn't happen to get there on Sunday, March 15th did you? I am asking because I was in line to check in that day and there was a large group of people at the counter and the lady checking them in couldn't find their reservation....they were there for quite awhile....

No we arrived on the 16th March and it was only my husband and myself and we were checked in by a guy

I figured that was probably too much of a coincidence. Guess they lost more than one reservation that week! :)

Sometimes they go through personnel changes, etc. Last Oct I had reservations that I had booked months earlier at the Ent rate. We decided not to go and I emailed the person that I had been corresponding with; the same one who had emailed me my confirmations, booked the ressies over the phone with, etc. I never got a follow up email. Something told me in my gut that something wasn't right about that so I called Hojo the day before I was supposed to check in to confirm that had received my cancellation, and sure enough, that lady no longer worked there so they still had me down for ressies. The guy on the phone was very nice, cancelled the ressie and gave me my cancellation confirmation number and I wasn't charged for the 1st night, even though they could've attempted to charge me because they didn't receive my cancellation email. I guess I should put in a call to them again because I asked for a confirmation email for my current ressie and I still haven't received one. It's good to have something tangible that you can produce for evidence if needed in these situations. Computers and hard drives fail, and people make human errors. I always ask for email confirmation of any reservation I make for hotel stays or any travel bookings. I've read too many horror stories of people going somewhere and not having a reservation in the system. It just disappeared. It even happened at DL w/ a PS last year. But I gave them my cell number (after I gave them my confirmation and them saying it didn't exist) and they were able to find it that way. Strange...

Ok I'll be calling in advance to make sure my reservations are ok. I hope they are!
