I'm having an awful time finding anything I'm interested in.. For the most part I've been watching:

48 Hours Unsolved Mysteries
Unsolved Medical Mysteries
Bridezillas (once in awhile)
Any other "true crime" shows I can find while flipping through the channels....

and a whole lot of the Weather Channel..:rotfl:

There's just nothing on that appeals to me.. Two summers ago I started watching this show that was on Bravo - "Jackie Werner's Sky Lab" - but I haven't found it again this year, so I'm assuming they stopped filming it..

Although I say "watching tv" - it's really just on in the background while I'm doing something else - but I would still like the "background" show to be somewhat interesting - you know? :)

Might be time to break out the videos and DVD's..:goodvibes

So nice to see a fellow TRUE CRIME watcher!! My son thinks I'm OBSESSED with them :lmao:

I found a cable channel devoted to them, Investigative Discovery, and I'm HOOKED. My son says all that murder and mayhem keeps him awake at night! :lmao:

Oh darn! I don't think we have that here..:headache:

I have an extensive library of true crime books - they're my favorite type of reading..:thumbsup2 Now and then I throw in some fiction for a change, but in broad terms, I much prefer to read non-fiction..:goodvibes

I have never watched "So You Think You Can Dance", but decided to give it a try this season. It's no "American Idol", but I'm enjoying it so far and it will do as a nice AI substitute :).

I also decided to watch "Expedition: Africa" on the History Channel. It's by Mark Burnett of Survivor fame, and it's pretty good so far. It feels and looks kind of Survivor-ish, only it's not a game.

I record Regis and Kelly every day to watch their intro part and any interviews/performances I'm interested in. I don't watch it every day, though.

I'm still watching "Harper's Island" until it concludes.

Sportcenter, College football Gameday, Wipeout at night. Seeing people just faceplant never gets old.

Reruns of Criminal Minds, NCIS, The Mentalist
Psych
Wipeout
Torchwood
SYTYCD

Wipeout
Psych
SYTYCD
Reruns od Star Trek TNG

Of course now I have Sims 3 and Dh has Sacred 2 so we play our games a lot.

Entourage's new season starts next month. And Mad Men's new season starts in August.

I caught Season 3 episodes of ER on TNT while I was home on vacation a couple of weeks ago, and I've started DVR'ing them and watching in the evening. I'd forgotten how good the first few years were.

Another vote for Wipeout here.

I'm the type that watches Discovery and TLC (for learning, not the crap shows), and I enjoy a really good documentary and I wouldn't be caught dead watching LOST or anything like that. (NO offense, heck, I HOPE people LOVE that show). It is just not my thing.

But give me some utterly useless comedy where people get hit on the head on PURPOSE and I die laughing every single time.

The current promo with that old guy getting smacked on his head by the teeter-totter obstacle, I just DIE laughing.

Ok, Dis friends, this is the ONLY place I will admit to all the shows I am watching right now... since my favs. (24, Survivor, American Idol) are done right now, this is what I have DVR'd:
The Bachelorette (I swore I wouldn't watch again...:rolleyes1)
Jon & Kate Plus 8 (It's like a train wreck, you just can't stop watching...)
Cake Boss
The Real Housewives of New Jersey...hey, I'm from New Jersey...gotta do it!
18 Kids...(The Duggars)
Tori and Dean...Home Sweet Hollywood

I can't wait until Top Chef's Masters show starts!

My DH gives me such a hard time about these shows, I like light shows that distract me from my own life's little dramas! (A teenaged DS, tween DD and a younger DD, yes, we have some of life's little dramas!)

:happytv:

Big Brother
Big Brother After Dark
Monk (last season :sad1:)
Psych
True Blood
Entourage

"So You Think You Can Dance" :dance3:
"Deadliest Catch" pirate:
"Ice Road Truckers" brrrr...
"Judge Judy" *snerk*
"Expedition Africa":scared1:

The Listener looks like it's good.
NBA finals and NBA Draft

Waiting for CBS fall shows that is coming om
Medium
CSI all them
NCSI
Numbers
Ghost Whispers

NBC
Law and Order

Can tell I like crime shows.

Burn Notice ~ starts tonight on USA!!! :woohoo:
Psych!! :yay:
Criminal Intent!!
Will probably check out new show Royal Pains.
Thank goodness for the USA Network.

I am a TV addict, so I spend the summer cleaning off the DVR from shows I didn't get to during the "season". I also rent some series that either I don't get the channel or I want to check out. So far, my plans for the summer are:

So You Think You Can Dance (got hooked last year)
Wipe Out (cracks me up every time)
Mad Men (best show on TV)
Jon & Kate Plus 8 (cute kids, I agree, like watching a train wreck)
Tori & Dean Home Sweet Hollywood
Chuck (rented Season 1 and now watching Season 2 online)
Dexter (recommended so will try)
Weeds (will rent when next season is on DVD, don't get Showtime)
Tru Blood (will rent when out on DVD, don't get HBO)

My DVR is at 72% filled, so I still have a lot of stuff to clear off yet including Harpers Island, 6 episodes of ER, 3 episodes of Desperate Housewives, Heroes, etc......

I need help :rotfl:
