Wow...I pray he did not do anything to harm his children. These kind of stories break my heart. I can't imagine doing anything to harm my children because I was mad at an ex-spouse. It's really sad when things get to this point.

The father is still being detained in California.........officials are now quite clear in saying they "have not located the bodies yet"

My gut instinct says he has them stashed somewhere so their mom can't have them. I hope my gut instinct isn't wishful thinking.

This is really sad . There seems to be a rash of people killing their kids and ex-spouses in the last couple of weeks. I think this is the 4th or 5th such incident I have read about.

My DH said "maybe he stashed them somewhere to have them taken away to his native Nicaragua or something..." so I hope those of you who have had that instinct are right!!

But the latest I heard was that they are looking more closely in Ohio somewhere. And that they are treating it as a homicide.

Today's information is not holding out any hope

"CONCORD, N.H. -- The lead investigator in the search for two missing New Hampshire children said that there is no chance the siblings are alive.

Attorney General Peter Heed said that nothing will be absolutely certain until bodies are found, but based on everything they know, they are confident the children are dead. "

What is going on in the world? I have so much trouble understanding how a parent can harm thier own child. It breaks my heart.
