Update on WDW honeymooners attacked while driving home on I-95

There was a follow-up story in the Washington Post about it today on the front page. The story is at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A17001-2003Aug3.html although I'm not sure how long that link will work.

They were driving back to NY after having their honeymoon trip to WDW and someone (who has not been caught) dropped a 70lb boulder on their car from an overpass as they were nearing the Washington, DC area. The rock went through the top of the car and hit the wife on the head and face and she was very badly injured - they weren't sure she would make it for awhile. This is such a sad story. On the positive side it sounds like she is improving....but still!

OMG, that is terrible I am praying for her and her family. I can't imagine the pain. This is so very sad, I can't stop the tears I wonder if there is a way to contribute to her family to help them with their expenses?

I found this info on some funds established to help with their expenses:

That came from a Rochester, NY television news website that had a story on her also. I have seen the Annandale, VA info published elsewhere so I think these are legit.

It is a very sad story. I would hope all of this recent publicity will lead someone to confess or turn in the person(s) who did this.
