There was a follow-up story in the Washington Post about it today on the front page. The story is at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A17001-2003Aug3.html although I'm not sure how long that link will work.
They were driving back to NY after having their honeymoon trip to WDW and someone (who has not been caught) dropped a 70lb boulder on their car from an overpass as they were nearing the Washington, DC area. The rock went through the top of the car and hit the wife on the head and face and she was very badly injured - they weren't sure she would make it for awhile. This is such a sad story.
On the positive side it sounds like she is improving....but still!
