Update on Steve's dad's colon cancer

Jack, Steve's dad, had a consult with the surgeon yesterday. He's scheduled for surgery next Thursday, Aug. 12, at 11:00 a.m. He'll have to have a colostomy bag when it's all said and done. He'll have a cat scan on Friday to find out if the cancer has spread outside the colon. He seems to be in pretty good spirits regarding the bag. He said he'll have to find somewhere else for his good reading time.

Please continue to keep him in your prayers and I'll keep you posted.

I agree that good attitude is important. If you ask my girls what my favorite saying, they'd say, "Attitude is 99%". If you have a good attitude you've nearly won the battle.
