Think carefully about your vote. A reactionary vote against Eisner at this time might actually work against what you really want. Eisner is against the Comcast deal. If he is voted out, it could split the board and make it easier for Comcast to move ahead. Bad timing on this! Eisner may have made some bad decisions, but Comcast will be worse. Don't get me wrong, I love Roy and all that Disney has stood for. I'd like to see it stay the company we've all loved, but Disney is currently under the gun. Disney supporters need to be strong enough to keep Disney out of Comcast's hands.

I don't see the two as mutually exclusive. First of all, a vote against Eisner isn't necessarily reactionary in relation to the Comcast deal. Many of us disagree with his actions and felt that way long before the deal. I also strongly hope that this isn't the case, but I don't know that Eisner is the kind of man who would stand up against Comcast if the offered price gets higher. I fear that he is a man chiefly driven by money, not by the good of the company. I personally (just my own opinion, of course) believe that Roy is the right man to keep Disney from getting bought by Comcast. I believe that he has the best interest of the Walt Disney Company at heart. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with ead79... if the price gets high enough, Eisner will take it. And he's not the only one who can or will say NO to ComCast.

Disney will not be an easier takeover target if you vote NO on Eisner. Disney IS an easy takeover target BECAUSE of Eisner and his "reign" over the last decade.

Voting NO sends the message that new leadership is desperately needed at the Disney Company, it does not send the message that you want that new leadership to be ComCast. That's another vote for another day, and right now we need to take one problem, I mean day, at a time.
