Update on my Dad...

Okay, everyday I start my day off calling my Dad and Mom. They're both in the same hospital on the same floor but not in the same room. I start off calling my Dad because his condition is alot more shaky than my Mom.

I call today and I get no answer. It makes me so nervous....

Then I take a deep breath and call my Mom.

My Mom answers and tells me she hears his voice up the hall. He's laughing and talking with the nurses!

This is the guy they just about gave up on last week!

If you ever met my Dad you would just LOVE him. He is the most sociable, friendly guy you'd ever meet. It makes me so happy to see him be his old self again. It's a BLESSING!

yay for Robin's dad! Hope he continues to improve. I bet if they would just allow kitties in the hospital his condition would greatly improve!

My Dad is ready to go home now. The only thing is he needs round the hour care and my Mom cannot go home for another 3 weeks.

The decision to send him to a nursing home is supposed to be made this week. It will be temporary like it was for my Mom. I'm not thrilled about it but it beats him having to go for good. This is the hard part, but I'm just so thrilled they're okay that this is a small thing.

Just don't send him to that one towards Cleveland (is it called the Chattanooga Nursing Home?). That one is a horrible place. They were in a lot of trouble awhile back, too.

Parkridge is a local call for me. I wanted to call to check on all of you, but I didn't know your parent's name. All of you have been in my thoughts and prayers.
