Yes, he narrowed it down to Leeds, Newcastle or Lancaster.
He liked the look of their English Language study abroad course, will do 2nd year at North Carolina Chapel Hill Uni.
I know its an old thread but if anyone was following this and not my Live trip report here are Matt's results.
Sociology A*
English A
General studies A
EPQ A
Psychology B
He now has a place at Lancaster Uni for English Language with study abroad. Hopes to continue with Sociology which he really enjoys.

Thanks Elaine, we are very proud of him.
He has decided to have his Psychology paper re-marked. It was over 4 units, units 1, 2 & 3 all A's but for the final unit something went wrong only getting a C, overall that gave him B. Last Saturday we totalled up all the scores, he was 2 marks off an A overall so he hopes a remark will gain him 2 more marks. Doesn't make any difference to his future but he wasn't happy with B.![]()
What exam board it it? If it was OCR they are notorious for bad markingGood luck with the remark but I should warn you that papers rarely change, the exam board doesn't like to admit they made a mistake!!
