update on DS's marching band's appearence at Giant Stadium

My DS's high school marching band won a audition over 1500 other bands to be the back up band for N' Sync member JC Chasez, at the Zootopia concert on June 1st at Giants Stadium featuring the following recording artists. Aerosmith, Jewel, Mariah Carey, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Ginnuwine, Third Eye, Bowling for Soup, "American Idol " artists Kelly Carson, Clay Aiken, Ruben Studman, and Britney Spears will Emcee. My son's band will play the song from the movie, Drumline in which JC Chasez will sing , they will also play another song by him, and theme from the 20 th Century Fox movie intro. They will be on stage and JC Chasez will wear the uniform of the Band too. The only bad thing is besides Aerosmith I do not know any much about the other artists, except for Mariah Carey , .... yes I never saw American Idol because I work nights. Plus I has to shell out 325 bucks for the 3 of us me, DW and other Ds to see them play. But this is a great thing for my DS.. I am sure he will never forget this.. and I am sure Britney will look great to him ....lol

But - Yikes! Those concert tickets prices were pretty steep, weren't they?? But I know that all of you will have a great time! Sounds like a good lineup of celebrity musicians!

I would KILL for such an experience! I heard they were auditioning bands, and I would have loved for my band to go (I am the drum major) but we're just so tiny. Wow, he is very very lucky.
