Update on Contemporary Refurbishment

Here is updated information on the Contemporary refurbishment from allearsnet.com.

Looks like the Tower will be done by the time we get there!!


May 30 – Oct. 31: South Garden Wing will be closed for refurbishment
June 29, 2005 - February 19, 2006 - Tower room refurbishment. One floor will be blocked off at a time.

I hope there won't be much noise in the tower while they are doing the construction. I would hate to have our vacation ruined by this. We're going at the end of August, so they definitely will be working on it then. I just hope they won't be working on the concierge floor then! I would think they would let us know in advance if they were closing down the floor (I hope)

Wow, So they've been working on the S.Garden for a while now. any chance I could get a renovated room by july 4th?

From what I have read about Disney remodeling-they usually manage to do it without much disturbance.

I hope they would have contacted you by now if they were going to be working on the concierge area at that time. Logically, since there are not as many of those rooms available, I hope they would wait until a slower time of year.
