Update on bleach in my sons eye - UPDATE AGAIN pg 2

Well, we are finally home. It was unusually busy today and we waited 8 1/2 hours in the waiting room!!! The peds doctor was running so behind. We were the only ones that waited THAT long because apparently his name got put in the regular ER and then overlooked because he was a peds patient... after 8 hours my dh finally got there and we raised heck. Then he got in and the doctor was really mad he had to wait that long and was waiting for us in the room when we got back there. He has an infection on the top layer of his eye... but his vision seems to be fine. He also has that bad virus and he didn't throw up at all there but he had a number of blow outs, one went all over him and he ended up in one of the hospital gowns... so he has an antibiotic for his eye, the drops should be GREAT fun when it comes time to give it to him in the morning. He has had a fever all day... and now he really doesn't want to eat or drink at all... so i'm thinking dehydration might become a factor soon... he hasn't wet a diaper in 5 hours. But the doctor didn't seem concerned so she let us go... and insists it's all from the virus not the bleach and I believe her.

So that was our fun filled day, almost 10 hours in the ER... UGH Oh we have to follow up with a pediatric optomologist and he's the only one in town but we already know him well because he is my middle daughters doctor... he did the surgery on her for her lazy eye. So that's good I guess...
