UPDATE: My National Rate Continues to drop

A heads up for folks holding ressies with National. My total has dropped twice this week. I was paying $299 total for 11 days, EA using the carlson code and free day coupon. On Monday it dropped and I saved $11, dropping to $288 using the EA code (11% off) and free day. My base dropped to $162 a week. Today the base dropped to $147 a week for Intermediate/EA choice. Now my price for 11 days is $200.66 before taxes and fees, with a grand total of $264.96. I love this trend and will continue to check daily for more drops. So please go revisit those ressies. This price DID NOT drop for my July 14-24 trip. Only this April 28-May 8th trip.


UPDATE 4/12/04: My rate dropped again this morning! And again this afternoon!

UPDATE: 4/15/04: My rate dropped again this morning! I have gone from $299 for 11 day rental, EA, intermediate to today's rate of $218--total, all taxes and fees.

Thank you for posting. I was able to knock another $25.00 off my intermediate 8 day + 1 hr. rental.
I used the BJ's contract ID and $20.00 coupon for a grand total of 196.00.

I'm glad you're rates are dropping. I, on the other hand, have checked my rate daily for a minivan for 8 days (5/8-5/16), and with my BJ's code and coupon for $20 off, the rate has been stuck for weeks at $293 and change, after all taxes, extras, and discounts. Do you think this is as good as it will get?

No, you can modify your reservaiton on line. Or, make a new one and cancel the original.

Well between yesterday and today, my National rental went UP $25.00! Using same codes and everything. Glad I already have my reservation. Maybe will take a bigger dip later...Sharon

Last night, using two different combinations i went from $282. down to $211 for our National rental for next week. Thanks for the heads up.

Forgot to mention, this amount includes a booster seat for our grandson, so the base rate is very good -booster seat is $7. per day.

hightown, sorry your rate didn't go down. Just a couple of notes. Did you try dumping your temp files and cookies? Also, whatever you do, don't put the WWEB or EWEB codes in. It causes the base rate to go UP. I continue to get a base rate of $147 for Intermediate/Emerald Aisle car. (still this morning/Saturday.) I used the EA discount code (11%) 5190257, plus the National free day coupon (10008905). But there are other codes and coupons to be used.

Vacation club code is 5042947 (10%) plus $15 coupon (10008198) (you need to go to mousesavers.com and print the coupon.)

There's the BJs code 5129799 (10%), plus they have a $20 coupon (10009013).

Please note that if you use a coupon, you MUST have the coupon to turn in.

Don't use the carlson code, it makes your price go UP also. If anyone else has any other codes to save any additional money, please share.

There's are so many discount codes on mousesavers.com, I'm sure everyone is able to use several of them. It's just time consuming punching in all of the different codes, especially if you have a computer dinosaur like I do, which is slow.

I was hoping to get even more of a discount than using 5007125.

I had made a reservation about a month ago using the DC club code. But with the latest price reductions, I got a better rate now using the EA code.

Oh well. Goodbye Disney Club.

I tried again later last night - with same codes and rate was back to my 170 total for 8 days, EA intermediate. I'm using priceless vacation contract id and entertainment coupon for $20 off. That's the best of any combination i've tried.

N2mm, My EA contract code is different than yours but looks like the same discount. It comes out higher than what I've gone.

Will keep trying to get it lower but I'm not unhappy with 170 for 8 days. But hopefully can shave it down a little more as the time gets closer.
