That is a comforting thought Jen. I am so sorry to hear that she passed. I can only imagine how hard this is for you and all of her loved ones.

not sure if i posted this yet..my brother talked to one of her nurses yesterday..she said that alyssa died peacefully...shes been in such pain and in and out of being aware..yesterday she woke up, looked out the window, smiled, and then stopped breathing...
So that thought was comforting yesterday..
i told my mom about everyones posts and she was amazed at how many people care..thank you all so much

You know that she was being lifted by Angels to a wonderful place with no pain or suffering. I am glad that you have this image of her in peace.

I just saw this thread for the first time. Read it all & I'm in tears.

You & your family are truly amazing friends. It just doesn't seem fair that a life & friendship were cut so short. Hugs & prayers for your family & Alyssa's family & friends.


ETA: I just found online what I believe is her obituary based on the few facts in this thread. I wished I would have seen this earlier. It's not all that far, & I would have attended the services for you. Even if just to lay a flower on the grave.
