When the bike shop owner tells you to go and ummmm....., you can go after the credit card company. Then the company that makes the bikes. Well...if all else fails you can claim it on your homeowner's insurance if little Skippy will say it was stolen from your garage rather than lost. Either way it's not Skippy's fault that he lost it and you still get your $1000.:D
 
liferbabe...get your facts straight before commenting about the hyphenation thing...first of all no one was cheating or anything, in order to continue your membership (and you still get the $1 trial again) if you were a member before, you need to call in and use their phone line and reactivate your acct #, I hate having to do things by phone, I like ordering online, so all I did was rejoin and got a new number and was then able to order online. There was no cheating or anything and besides that its anyone's right to join for the 30 day trial and cancel before it ends, if you think connections isn't making money, think again, they wouldn't be offering the trial if they were losing money. They have to be making money when they sell the tickets and everything else they offer or why would they be in business?

Connections had a problem with BBB and states AG offices regarding a variety of problems in the past. Not sure of their current status.
liferbabe--I went back and looked at hulabird post. I think your summary was accurate. Although I don't doubt if you call them up and give them a good story they might allow you an additional trial membership hulabird misrepresented her name in order to allow an additional trial membership.
I wonder how much longer Connections will allow members of this board to order thousands of dollars of Disney vouchers and tickets with only a $1 fee.

I hope they wait long enough so I can order my passes. Honestly, (and I try to be...) I don't think Connections has a problem with this. They are showing you how great their services is and hope people will stay - which some do. And I'm sure there is some percentage that just forgets to cancel their membership. Connections is a business and I'm sure that if they were not making money, they wouldn't offer the trial membership.

As for people getting repeat trial memberships - I suppose that's between the person and Connections. If it was really a problem, I'm sure Connections would do something to stop it.
 
Are the tickets from Connections discounted or are they the same price you pay at Disney?
 
I think this thread served it's purpose. I hope everyone has learned to copy the back of their passes!
