UPDATE/He is doing GREAT!....My Brother received a Kidney last night!

Great news! And a great reminder to all of us reading this to make sure friends/relatives all know that you want to be a DONOR!!!! And, while I'm at it - a good plug to be a blood donor as well.

Miracles like the OP's couldn't happen without either one.

Congrats! My cousin has had two kidney transplants (first kidney was donated by his mother and the body rejected it), so hugs to your brother and his entire family.

My brother was taken to CCU, his blood oxygen level is to low and he is on an oxygen mask, last night at 100 %. Dr. don't know whats happening. He does have a lot of fluid in him and some fluid around the lugs, so hopefully once the fluid subsides all will be better. They checked for blood clot and pneumonia, he does have a slight case of pneumonia.
Going to see him later hopefully they will have answers by then.

Kidney is working level dropped a little, they said because of the dye for the cat scan, not too concerned right now about that.

Please pray all will be well soon.

Thank You all for your well wishes He is doing great, The kidney is going strong.He is in some pain but all is well. They are hoping for him to be home on Sunday.

One of my brothers had 3 kidney transplants (1 from me) and a liver transplant.

It is truly a modern day miracle.

He is coming home today, Tuesday May 4th! His 2 kids miss him so much they haven't seen him since he left the house on Wednesday. We all are so excited!


I know him and he is going to plan a Disney trip as soon as he can!
