Update for anyone who added-on Sat. in Chicago

The points (Dev. and reg) have not shown up yet in my account. I called MS just now and I was told that it usually takes 2-3 days before they will be processed. I know there are some of you on here that have said that you already have them in your account and you bought Sat. as well. I was curious as to anyone else who added on Sat. if they are in their account yet? Thanks

Not going to be much help as we added on Wednesday. We asked and were told that they would get our points in the system by Thur at noon since we were going to make a reservation for this Sept with the points we were buying.
They followed through and had them in there by noon.
I'm sure there were many add ons with the initial owners intro, and then on the weekend there had to be many more. It may be taking a bit longer.

Just curious. I haven't seen what the incentive was this weekend for members. Do you remember what it was? Was it similar to what was given to the members opening?

I think it was exactly the same. $10 off SSR points, $8 off AKV per point AND Developer points.

Example: We bought 110 AKV points and got 110 Developer points. IF you bought 160 points you would get 240 Dev. points.

Good. I'm glad to know they kept it the same for everyone. Good luck getting your points quickly.
And FWIW, I spoke with my guide prior to the event. She said she would be happy to help with our paper work from the event if the people who were working in Chicago were too busy. That way we would be able to get our paperwork in sooner. It may be worth a try.

Thanks yeah I just checked this AM and still nothing. I did talk to my guide from Chicago on the phone yesterday and she said that none of the Chicago add-ons had been processsed yet. I kindly informed her that there were some on the DIS that in fact already have them done. She seemed surprised. Hopefully they enter them today as I am trying to make a Spring ressie.

Well, we did our add on Wednesday, and our points aren't showing up as of a few minutes ago. And, we're looking into going of a cruise next summer, so I'm really hoping to get those points in there, so I can book it!

I'm not going to call my guide, yet. There were obviously a number of contracts written this past weekend, and there is a LOT of paperwork that must be processed. I have a feeling they (DVC) didn't have anyone up here to do the data entry, which means it's all going back down to Florida. If I don't see the points show up by the end of the week, then, yes, I'll be on the phone to my guide.

To those of you who have received your points, congratulations and can you pass the pixie dust to those of us still waiting, please?

Glad you got yours in your account. We want to utilize ours for Easter, and it is approaching the 7 mo mark for others to book AKV. We would get the 11 mo. advantage but we only have another week.

We bought in Chicago this past weekend at the Doorway to Dreams Grand opening and it was $ off AND Dev. points that is why we bought. I do not know if that promotion was just for Chicago or not. I guess is you would have to call Florida and see if they are allowing that offer as well.

We did an add-on of 120 points (SSR) yesterday through Florida. Choice of $10.00 discount per point OR double developers points. Our UY is December, so we also received '06 points and will be receiving '07 points in December.

For an SSR ADD-ON only, Chicago is still offering the preview/grand opening incentives until the end of the month. Those are for Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec use years:

110 pts (2006), $10 off per pt. AND 110 developer points
160 pts (2006), $10 off per pt. AND 240 developer points
210 pts (2006), $10 off per pt. AND 420 developer points

I think the AKV discount is the $8 off mentioned elsewhere, but not sure. Must sign up at the store and have 7 days to decide once visiting the store. Automatic loan approval. New members receive different incentives than those stated above. At Florida, add-ons receive either $10 off per point OR double developer points.
