Today I had a check-up with my doctor following my bout with Guillian-Barre Syndrome. He was very encouraged by my progress and feels that I should be back to normal ( I use that term loosely!
) very soon. I have gotten back all the feeling in my feet and hands and should soon be over my episode with Bell's Palsy, which was a direct result of the Guillian-Barre. My nuerologist told me, last week, that I was actually diagnosed with the rarest of GBS, Millard-Fisher's (if I remember correctly) and it mainly affects the face, vision and speech. I still have occupational therapy once a week for my vision, but I have to be patient. It will be at least another month before I can even think about work. In the meantime, I will be spending my days planning for our next trip, only 240 days until we leave
Anyhow, thanks again for all the support. It meant alot to me and my family
