*UPDATE* DVC members get discounted Disney Magazine subs!

I thought I once read that DVC members now receive subscriptions to the Disney Magazine. Is this true?

I just received my subscription renewal notice, and I don't think I need to pay.

As far as we know it is not. We are DVC members but we still have to pay for the Disney Magazine. This would be a nice little perk.

It used to be a perk of the Disney Club (formerly Magic Kingdom Club). That club ended at the end of last year.

It's not included for free but there was a discount offer available. I think it was listed in VM or one of the Member Clubhouse issues. It doesn't seem to be on the Member website.

I am so glad you posted this! I knew I had read $10 for two years and a phone number, somewhere, but couldn't for the life of me remember where. I guess I'd better hurry up and call before I forget where the info is, again, huh?!?

You can get a 2 year subscription to Disney magazine for $4.95 on Ebay. That's where I get all of my subscriptions now. Waaaaay cheaper than any other method, and I've never had a problem so far. I've ordered subscriptions to Automobile (for DH), Organic Style, Money, and a few others for dirt-cheap prices on Ebay.

I am not completely sure about this, but I believe we get the Disney magazine for free as Premium Annual Passholders. I know I received one in my daughter's name, and she did not order it. Her name does not appear on our DVC deeds, either(well, not yet anyway!), so it must be an Annual Pass perk.

Does your daughter subscribe to Disney Adventures? I ask because my DD does and we ending with her name on our Disney Magazine and I feel almost certain we have been receiving it longer than I originally subscribed. I'm thinking they must have included it somehow with the Adventures mag.
