Update: BOOKED IT! Giving serious thought to the VIP Tour...

In case anyone missed your humor:
E-Ticket exit door (assuming not alarmed) is adjacent to the Fairytale Suite.

I didn't realize you could use that exit. We were immediately adjacent to the entrance on our stay and LOVED being able to just swing next door for food/drink. It seemed a lot longer of a walk down the hallway than just the length of the lounge.

When I've stayed in the FTS ($800/night), it was so nice to be right next door to the lounge. They share a common wall, as it is the corner suite on the building and the lounge is the one next to it.

I guess it was a shock that the price had jumped over $500/night. Sure, it's cheap compared to the other Signature Suites, but you're only allowed 2 people in the room. I thought it would be good to do it this trip since I could split the cost with my sister, but she can't swing the $700 for her share of one night in the suite. I probably would have considered it, though, if it had been available the last night of our stay and not the first.

ETA: I've also gotten lucky and been able to stay in a room on the other side of the lounge when I went with my family. That was awesome! CL spoils you, though, so beware :)

That was our room during our only stay at the DLH. Spoiled us so bad. I'm not holding my breath on our room for our upcoming stay.

That is weird, as the Fairytale suite has been in the $700-1000 range for the past 5 years. Recently it has jumped to $1000-1500 a night. The Mickey Mouse Penthouse is in the $4000 range now.

The Fairytale suite is the suite just to the north of the E-Ticket club. "All the way down the hall" from the E-Ticket is the Big Thunder Suite.

One day, I do want to stay in the Adventure Suite....

The suites are different prices? I assumed (apparently incorrectly!) that they were all the same price. Obviously I'm not on the up and up on the finer things at Disneyland! Only a mere peasant! lol Yes, it was for the Mickey Mouse Suite. So I guess compared to now, that was a bargain!

The Fairytale suite was always cheaper because it was smaller. The MM Penthouse now goes for about $4500 a night including tax.
