So thanks to those who offered advice on my original post 3 weeks ago, and SUPER THANKS to Corgidad for the charger!! So we got home and the RV mechanic checks our 5th wheel and all of the power is working perfectly. It even worked well when we plugged it into 20 amp service at the house to open and unpack. Much better than it ever did plugged in at the Fort. So my mechanic says it must have been a power issue at the Fort. Thoughts? Honestly we just figured the problem was with our camper and did not think to have the Fort come out to check the power at the site... would love to hear what others think. We are thinking about emailing the Fort management but I'm not sure how to contact them.
For those who may not have read our original post, from the time we plugged in to unhook at the Fort we had very dim lights, fridge kept knocking off, and as the lights got more dim the main A/C would cut off, it's thermostat regulated. Microwave, bedroom A/C were fine. Had to remain plugged into battery charger to get any power and closing it up was much faster and powerful when plugged into our truck. Even on the charger could not get the slides to go in. That's why we thought battery issue but it works fine now.....

Well glad it was not your battery. Could be that the Fort had a wiring issue. Worked for a state park at one time, critters get in those posts, some campers decide to rewire them, weather. We use a surge protector that also gives a readout on the wiring, before we ever hook up. Ours doesn't but some even display the voltage coming in to your camper.
Could just have been too many people trying to run AC units et al., and the power system was not quite up to the task.

Were you plugged into 50A ? Could be that your converter was on one of the 110v legs and there was an issue with the post at the Fort. I have had several issues over the years, all fixed very quickly at the Fort.

Interesting....

Maybe a Line Conditioner is in order as well. I actually have one (somewhere collecting dust) that I could install in my TT. Never really thought about this type of issue before.

As mentioned above, if you haven't got one already, get a surge protector which might assist in these situations.

We have had to call twice for electric issues. They were handled quick and efficient.

Thanks everyone! Looking around and pricing surge protectors now. Been camping since 2009 and at the Fort and have been 11 times since then and no issues, but there is always a first time. Will certainly call next time and not just assume it is our trailer. ;) And yes we were plugged into 50amp. Even tried the 30 amp on a converter and still hardly any power at the Fort, but at home on 20 amp had power. Also considered the fact that we were at the end of the loop and wondered if that was why it would cycle at times, due to demand of lots of A/C's running on the loop at the same time. Learned a lot out of this!
