Some tech podcasts I listen to have done very well with Skype - but I think they generally use high end microphones as well. But it probably wouldn't be the same without there being some face to face interaction, even though we can't see it. Of course, a webcam could solve that...

Technologically speaking, Skype does not provide the ability to share chocolate.
