I'll be taking part hon, although for Halloween I may not be able to thank my sender until I get back from WDW on the 6th November, so they will have to excuse my tardiness, I will make sure mine is sent before I leave on the 20th, I will get to open a Halloween gift in November, how bizarre!!

l cant wait I will be joining in all 3

Oh, I get so excited about the shopping, the wrapping and reading my recipient's reaction as well as seeing a photo that last time I forgot that I'd actually receive a pressie myself!

That's great girls, I've already been checking the Disney Store website, but it must be too early for their Halloween stuff ~ how dare they, don't they know we've got an exchange to organise

Yes of course. Well basically I will start a thread about the latest exchange, and if you wish to join in, you will send me a PM with your full name, address, and details of things that you like (eg, fave Disney character or chocolates etc), then before the close down date I will send you a PM of who you are buying a gift for. The idea is to buy a present for no less than £10, wrap it up and send it out by the date stated, then when you receive your gift, you post on the thread and hopefully post a photo too

I'm so sorry to hear this Martin, did you not like your gift ? (didn't you receive that cute Alien?), or was it because your recipient didn't post a photo ?

All I can say is that when I allocate a recipient, we never get the same person twice (unless you've been doing these exchanges for quite a while)

Hi Mandy, You don't have to say sorry!

It was just disappointing that the person didn't acknowledge receipt of the pressie for a long time until they were prompted, and didn't make the effort to borrow a camera/use a camera phone to take pictures of my pressies. The rules of the exchange were clear, so I don't know why they would get involved unless they were prepared to make a bit of effort Checking for weeks to see if they had bothered to do it just made the whole thing disheartening for me
Anyway, as I say, I certainly wouldn't tell people not to get involved because of one bad experience, as plenty of others made it a great success.
I don't want to de-rail the thread, but I just wanted to explain that it certainly wasn't because I was disappointed with the presents I received They were fantastic, and my secret sender was very generous

its normally me who doesnt update for weeks im afraid so im sorry if it was me who put you off, all i can say is i had a one year old and a newborn the end of last year (newborn born halloween day) so i was too busy.
i now have the ability to post pics though

id like to take part in them all this year but i cant guarantee i can post on here the same day i recieve the exchange gifts, as now ive a toddler and a baby nearly walking
