My daugter is seven and each year since we have lived in Florida (2002) we have gone up to WDW together for her birthday. It helps that her birthday is in December as this is my absolute favortie time to visit. :thumbsup2

Each year I try to sample new things with her, and since her birthday is 12/21 and our annual Florida passes have black out days we always visit the first week of December.

Our plans so far: (any suggestions PLEASE let me know)

We will drive up on 12/8 after school so I booked the Royal Pacific Hotel to sleep in since I am one stay away from Platinum status and REALLY want it :confused3

Early on 12/9 I plan to:

Hotel:
Shades of Green was booked so I got a $224 overflow rate for the Boardwalk Inn. I have never stayed there and am quite excited about it. I hope it is warm enough at some point to try out that great pool and slide.

I know we won't be able to go to our room until after 3 p.m. so I thought we would go to MGM for the morning and ride the rock and roll rollercoster since my daughter is now officially tall enough! We were just at WDW this past week and it is now her new "favorite" ride.

A quick lunch on the boardwalk (any suggestions??) and then we will get ready in the room for her Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo (Sp?) apointment at 4:30. I am so excited about this since my daughter is a "girly girl" (her words) and with two teenage boys I love to have those times with her.

We bought her Cinderella's wedding dress at WDW last weekend because she went to the Princess Tea at the Grand Floridian (awesome) so she could also have it for this day(her birthday celebration).

After Bibidi we are headed to Cinderella's Castle for her birthday dinner at WDW. The reservationist that I booked these with said they are thinking of doing a package with a makeover and dinner at the castle as a promotional deal. She will have on her beautiful white dress and plans on getting the princess hair style.

The next day the park choice is up to her but then we have the Garden Grill candlelight package. I figure the garden grill characters will thrill her and the candlelight program will thrill me. ;)

Any suggestions, comments or ideas would be greatly appreciated (especially about the boardwalk area).

:thumbsup2

I'll be staying at the BWI and I heard the Surrey bikes are fun, but hard peddaling.

Wow, what a great birthday trip for your DD. What a fun Mom you are!

I don't have any advice to offer but I look forward to hearing about your trip after you return. :)
