Upcoming change in Castaway Club tier?

At the end of our April cruise on the Dream, we'll officially be at platinum level. When I look up our Aug cruise to Alaska, it gives my date to book excursions/Palo according to our current gold level. Our April cruise ends less than 2 weeks before it's time for platinum members to start booking things for Alaska.

Is that enough time for the system to recognize the change and adjust the dates? I know it's not instant because when my parents sailed with us for a b2b in Nov, they changed to gold at the end of the 1st half and their OBC did not reflect gold level on the 2nd leg. Perhaps it's because they had already checked in online at silver level? Who knows.

Has anyone has a similar situation?

On our last cruise we flipped to Gold at the end of it. Everything showed the change as soon as we stepped off the boat (I was re-booking through DVC as we drove to WDW). Hope this helps!

Your status should definitely adjust before you need to book for Alaska as a Platinum. If it does not within a week from your return then contact the Castaway club.
