Oh Joh you poor thing. They are the worst. Try taking paracetomol 4-6 hourly. Once you have taken your paracetomol take ibruprofen two hours after that. It should work out every 2-3 hours you are able to have a pain killer. Dont take more than 4 sets of paracetomol in 24 hours. Its easily done, as dh was in so much pain he accidently took a few too many and had a raging tummy ache. When you take ibruprofen dont take them on an empty tummy.

Hope you feel better soon. Oh and as Sue said clover oil is meant to be great.

When I had infection under a crown the only painkiller that even took the edge of the pain was Veganin (i think it's a mixture of paracetomol and codine).

I had to go to the denist late week so I know how your feeling, Have a swig of whisky Joh and hold in your mouth around the tooth, it will num the area and hopefully help you sleep.

Also there is something in the chemist called Cloves Oil? I think its called that but thats also for toothpain.
