I am looking to buy their lowest tier 2 park pass and am wondering if there are any ways to get a discount on it? I see promos for day tickets but not this one but not sure if I'm missing something. Thank you!

Sometimes it is a guessing game on which tickets offer a promo deal.

if none come out before your trip, go with the one you see as the best deal for you.

I will but I'm pretty set on this pass. Is the UO site the only place to get the seasonal pass? I was wondering if there is somewhere else I can look.

I don’t have an answer for you but hope someone does

I bought my preferred ap in 2001 and renew it annually
I’m not current if it can be bought outside of universal

The only way I've seen to lower the cost is to buy discount regular tickets and then upgrade them to APs once you get to the park. It didn't appear to save enough money for me to go through the hassle, so we just bought the APs direct from Universal. Compared to Disney AP prices (when available), they are a steal.

It sounds like getting them from UO is the answer. Costco and AAA aren't offering anything right now. Thanks for the info!!! I think I'll get them soon in case there are some AP discounts for hotels as we are staying on site.

You won’t need the tickets til you’re there for the AP discount.

Edit - julesann beat me to it :)

Perhaps limeace means you don't need to activate your purchased AP to reserve the hotel with the AP discount. I bought the same Seasonal 2 park pass in Sept., and made a reservation for the end of Oct. I was able to check in before I activated the pass. To be honest, they never asked to see it at the Royal Pacific, but I activated it at their guest services desk.

I was saying you don’t need the AP beforehand to book the rate-just before you check out (they never asked for it when we were at HRH in 2019 either).

Oh wow--that's great know! Thank you.
