Unwanted Priceline Reservation @ Clarion Maingate

Has anybody ever had an unwanted Priceline reservation? I have booked the Clarion Hotel Maingate for 3 nights from 14 August. Due to a change of plans I now can't use it. I know that Priceline won't gve me my money back. I have heard of people transferring reservations into another person's name. Has anybody ever done this? Has anybody got any other suggestions?

I've done it plenty of times. (Yes, I know it violates the rules.) In fact, I am selling 7/12 at Hilton DD on ebay now. Call the hotel and ask them whether you can add a name to the reservation--do not tell them you are trying to sell it.) Hopefully, they will sell yes. The just list it on eBay. Be prepared to take a loss.
