Unusual dining question

Okay, so I was all ready to book our trip when my mom decided to go with us, so I added her to the plane reservations. Neither of us ever thought about the fact that we would be there on my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. Oops! When I realized it, she immediately talked to my dad and he said, "Go and have fun. I have no desire to go to Disney. We will probably go to dinner on the weekend anyway." (so much for Mr. Romantic!) So, I would like to schedule an ADR at a nice restaurant to celebrate with my mom and we will have my 5 yo daughter with us.

Any suggestions for something a little quieter but would still be enjoyable for my DD? We are staying at WL.

I think that you have a great option right in your own hotel at Artist Point. California Grill at the Contemporary is also great for a celebration.

We treated my parents to Artist Point on our May 2007 trip. (We didn't go, just them). My mom STILL talks about that meal to this day. They loved everything about it from the meal, service and the setting. She said there were a few children in the dining area while they were there but the large windows seemed to occupy them.

The quietest signatures in my opinion are Citricos, Jiko, AP. You can usually communicate just fine in a low, soft voice.

Flying Fish and Narcoossees are the next loudest, where a normal talking voice may be needed to be heard.

Cali Grill can get pretty loud, but you can watch Wishes with a great view. If you don't want to eat that late, you can have an earlier ADR and return closer to Wishes. They will let you up to the observation deck as long as you remember your receipt from that night.

They all have pros and cons. Check allears to give you an idea of what the menus offer and narrow your decision down to a few and maybe make a new thread with a poll.
